Victoria Ridgway

Marhaba, I have lived in the UAE for the last ten years, and have worked at CIA for the last five. This is my second year in the position of assistant head teacher, with curriculum development and enrichment as my focus. I have worked in year 1 and am now in year 2. I have loved every minute of working in such a beautifully diverse school, alongside teachers from all over the world with amazing experiences to learn from. I have enjoyed greeting fresh faced learners each year and building positive and brilliant relationships with them and their families.

I am originally from Wales, where I graduated from Swansea University in 2012 with a BA hons in Primary education. This academic year, my daughter has joined FS at CIA and I couldn’t be prouder to have her in such a multi cultured and nurturing environment.

I look forward to another year of working with all year groups in primary to ensure that our HPL embedded curriculum is consistent, engaging, hands on and personalised to all learners in order to continue our world class and inclusive learning journey.
