Roxanne Richards

Hello! I am Roxanne Richards, Head of Psychology here at GEMS CIA. I studied BSc in Psychology at the University of York and then proceeded to complete my Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Secondary Sciences, graduating in 2012. 

I took my first teacher post in the UK and remained there for 3 years before moving overseas to experience international teaching. I worked at a school in Muscat, Oman as Head of Science before relocating to Abu Dhabi, where I was Head of Psychology and Head of House at another school in the city.  This is my 3^rd year at CIA and I feel privileged to be able to work with so many wonderful learners and staff. I am very passionate about education and my subject. I try to inspire as many people as possible to use Psychology in their daily life, as well as to study the subject at a higher level.
