Tammy Elimlahi - Primary Deputy Headteacher

Tammy Elimlahi

Primary Deputy Headteacher

As-Salaam-Alaikum, I am the proud Deputy Head Teacher of GEMs Cambridge International School, Abu Dhabi.

I first joined C.I.A. in 2014, as a Class Teacher, before progressing through the Middle and Senior Leadership Team. I am currently in my first year as Deputy Headteacher of Primary, with key responsibilities for the implementation of our CPD programmes and leading on Teaching and Learning.

In 2012, I graduated from the University of Greenwich with a BA Hons degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. As I enter my eighth year of teaching, six of which have been at C.I.A, I am currently writing my final research project for my National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership.

I am passionate about child-centred learning and providing a broad, balanced and British curriculum in a multicultural environment. I look forward to the enriching opportunities our learners will get this year at C.I.A.
